Maker applications now open through August.

Hello makers and artists!

We have met with our venue host to come up with a plan for this year's market to keep it safe for everyone and to also support makers. We believe we can still hold the market safety, as long as government guidelines stay the same. As no one will be surprised, we will be making some changes to keep everyone safe.

 

  • The market will only be Saturday. In order to provide 6 feet in between vendors and adequate space for shoppers, we will have less vendor space.  We will not have a Friday night market, but we hope our usual shoppers will stop by Saturday. The hours will still be 9am-3pm, with a potential to set up the night before, if wanted.

  • Shoppers will reserve a time-slot. In order to keep with capacity restrictions, we will limit the amount of shoppers that come in every hour. Numbers-wise, we should still be able to handle close to our usual weekend numbers, they will just be spaced out.

  • Makers and shoppers must wear masks. The same as everywhere else right now.

  • There will be a one-direction shopping "loop" around the house. (The conference center will have the middle open for shoppers to space out if they need, so shoppers will not need to follow a direction there, but there will be a separate entrance and exit.) There will also be a separate entrance and exit for the venue itself.

  • We will not be having food or drinks available. This year the market will solely be a maker market. We're bummed about this, but there's no way around it.

  • We encourage makers to set up in a way that there is minimal handling that shoppers need to do to browse your goods and to be able to clean your booth as needed.  

As we stated before, if things change and new state guidelines are issued and they end up being too much to put on the market well or if we are not allowed to hold the market at all, vendor fees will be refunded 100%. (Please note, this may end up being last minute, as determining state guidelines are above our pay grade.) If we are able to go on with the market, but you decide to not participate for any reason, you will forfeit your vendor fee.

We will be accepting applications for the market until August 31, 2020. This has been extended from what we previously posted.
